THE SOUND OF MUSIC
Paul Dawber was involved in the Australian National
tour of this popular musical, making 392 performances.
This production was actually direct from "Broadway",
but with an Australian cast. Dawber portrayed "Herr Zeller"
(yet another bad guy!) and was also the understudy for the lead
male role - "Captain Von Trapp", played by John Waters.
The cast also included Lisa McCune, Bert Newton
and opera great - Eileen Hannan. |

The show opened in Sydney in November 1999, and toured Melbourne
and Brisbane in 2000. The rest of Australia and N.Z. got to enjoy
this production in 2001.

Paul performed 7 roles in this Jim Cartwright (Little
Voice) play.
This production ran at the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne
from June to July 1999.

Paul guest stars as different characters over

Episode 254: "Loose Ends"
Paul plays Barry Craig, a bent copper who has been put on trial
for his crimes. Fearing for his life, Craig offers Maggie a deal
she can't refuse- the names of players in the drug ring that killed
her brother.

During his stint with this reknown theatre company,
Paul had roles in Shakespeare favourites such as Romeo and Juliet,
Hamlet, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
